Aggression, brutality ever-present. Burned houses, dismantled factories, ravaged forests, destroyed books. Nature and culture alike disfigured by smoke. Here, everything disappears: the shadow of a tree, the promise of spring, the hope of return. But in every charred book, in every blackened wall, memory persists. A burning land in an attempt to extinguish its people.

The Epicenter Mall was attacked on May 25, 2024, resulting in 19 casualties and 40 injuries. Burned paint marks the mall’s damaged exterior wall.

They asked us not to provide the location.

The printing house Factor Druk in Kharkiv was hit by 3 Russian missiles (S300?) on March 23rd 2024, causing 7 deaths and 22 injured.
Over 50,000 books were destroyed.
